NEW MOM MUST HAVE #1.
Invest on a great BINDER.
What a binder is continuously doing for me.
1. Alleviates incision pain. Helped screen the C Section pain a bit which allowed me to move around (not too much tough) and care for my baby as soon as she was roomed in.
2. Provides pressure on tummy so coughing, laughing, pooping or sneezing doesn't hurt much. It controls ab muscles so it wont get worked out too much.
3. Keeps separated ab muscles together (Diastasis Recti).
4. Aids in compressing the uterus resulting in a flatter stomach. (Tiis ganda!)
This is my post delivery belly. I was a Size L pre pregnancy (i was a bit on he heavy side) ---i think I am back to my old bod or even smaller 13 days after child delivery.
I wore a binder as soon as I could walk to the bathroom post surgery. I kept it on most of the day, removed it most of the night. If you get a really comfortable one, you might be able to keep it on all night.
I have other new mom must have items to share in the next few days.
This I have to post as #1 must have as it would require action as early as mommy is out of the recovery room.
Sharing this to expecting moms (go get a binder) or those who just gave birth (its not yet too late to start!).

Picture posted is not bound. Pregnancy aftermath is still there though, will need exercise to tone. Not bad for 13 days post delivery.
