To mommies participating in Hakab Na! 2015, i salute all of you!!!
I have registered to participate, unfortunately it is too early for me to be out of the house, I am feeling better but I don't want to overdo it. And hubby also feels that our little angel is still too small to be exposed to a huge crowd, he's more concerned about baby's immune system not being that strong yet. Hubby is more on the preventive side which I understand. Sa panahon ngayon, mahal magkasakit.
I really wanted to experience the Hakab Na! It would have been my first. Despite not being physically there, I think with the frequency of feed of my little one, I probably joined hundreds of mommas who latched on their angels together in different locations pa!
Drink lots of water, make sure soup is part of your meal, i take Natalac 3x a day, eat lactation food (this might be budget heavy but I meant to munch on them just for 3 weeks, I am on my 2nd week supply), unli latch, on long naps if little one doesnt want to wake up to feed I drain by expressing for future use).
While my little one sleeps during the day, I am building my stash. An hour after feeding, I express milk. 2 oz in 15 mins on one side --abundant I would say! By the time she wakes up, I have reproduced enough to provide her sustenance. Or have reserved one side to give her fill.
Happy August 1 breastfeeding moms! It's your day!
Continue to stand proud (chin up) while feeding your baby!
